Noah Brezel studied graphic design and printmaking at community colleges in Santa Barbara and San Francisco before transferring to California College of the Arts. He started out studying industrial design, but after realizing he wanted to have a hand in both the creation and the fabrication of his designs, Brezel decided to focus on furniture design. Since then, he has exhibited work in New York, Baltimore, and numerous locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Brezel graduated with honors from CCA in 2010, focusing his thesis on designing and building furniture that act as a catalyst for public interaction. He is currently working for the design/art/activism organization REBAR as the project manager of for the Walklet project; reclaiming parking spaces to create mini communal areas within an urban environment. Brezel, who also creates privately commissioned pieces, lives in San Francisco.
